The Caliche opens onto the lavender walk through a pair of cedar French doors. Linen bedding, a deep clawfoot soaking tub, and the original 1908 pine floors. Mornings here are slow.

The Sage occupies the southeast corner of the upper floor. A separate sitting alcove with a leather reading chair, a king with custom Belgian linen, and a small balcony just wide enough for two chairs and the morning coffee.

The Texas Suite takes the entire northwest corner of the house. A king in the main room and a queen in the adjacent sleeping alcove make it the favorite for the slow-traveling couple plus a friend, or a small family. The gas fireplace runs October through March.

The smallest of our rooms, the Library is named for the floor-to-ceiling bookshelves James Hartline restored in 2017. A queen bed, a window seat, and a quiet place to read.

Up the back stair and through the original 1908 door, the Loft takes the full upper south side of the house. Beamed cathedral ceiling, a king bed, and an east-facing dormer that catches the morning light.

Cottage
The Cottage sits three hundred feet from the main house, across the wildflower meadow. Two bedrooms (king + twins), a full kitchen, a wood-burning stove, a private deck with a soaking tub, and an outdoor shower that looks straight up into the live oaks. The family favorite.

The Parlor Suite takes the original front parlor of the 1908 farmhouse. The original limestone mantel, a separate sitting room with a record player, and double doors to the front porch.
