A 1908 farmhouse, restored slowly, on its own terms.
The Hartline House sits on the original 1873 Hartline homestead — twelve acres of limestone, live oak, and lavender twelve minutes from Main Street.
Sara and James Hartline restored the 1908 farmhouse over four winters, stone by stone, by hand. They opened seven suites in 2017 and have run it themselves ever since. The vineyard up the road is Sara’s brother Cal’s.
“We built the place we wanted to escape to.”
